A very tranquil scene with some very quiet water for the theme, Ian. Nice balanced composition, good contrast, sharp details and an excellent exposure; very nice!

Oh, how lovely. . .and so peaceful looking! Fine placement of the interesting elements in this image, Ian. I especially the peek of the curved roof on the left, the graceful bridge, and the reflections artistically diffused by the lily pads. Japanese gardeners certainly have learned how to create an oasis of serenity.

Great job, Ian. The image really shows off the sense that a good Japanese garden creates.

I'm sure your composition would please the artist/gardeners, Ian. Your artistic skill shows off the way their artistry can combine nature with a human sense of order and beauty.
