This image was taken about a year ago from my truck window in a nature reserve, in early spring. The YHBB were building nests and doing calls to one another and a couple of the males were using a perch to do this from. The perch was a long way away and across water so I couldn't get any closer than this and it was not a particularly pretty perch so I was going for flight shots rather than perched shots. This was a launch shot from that perch.

David, IMHO this is one of the better YHBB flight shots I have seen :smile:. I like the position you caught the bird in and the colors are great. The BG color makes the bird stand out very nicely. Thanks for sharing.
