I found this row of Rainbow Eucalyptus trees on the Big Island of Hawaii. It's a magical place. The trees were perfectly spaced, about 5 yards apart. I shot them looking down the row, using a telephoto lens to compress the shot and make this abstract. It's one of my favorite images from the trip.
This was taken during my recent Big Island workshop with Aaron Feinberg. If you're interested in joining us next year, go

Aaron, the blueness is on purpose. I messed with temp and saturation a bunch, and this was what looked best to me.
I like the blue...it's very cheerful!
We need a blue smiley...
I would change your tour description though to focus on you and Aaron, rather than making it be about someone else
Very impressive. It is pretty saturated and I do wonder how these trees look in reality, but in either case I really like it. I do wonder what it would like if the blues (assuming they are from shadows) would look if darker, almost black. The green bushes add a lot to the composition and feel in my opinion.
Very well done!
Question, where on the Big Island are these trees? I've spent a lot of time on the island so I am pretty familiar with it. (I used to live in Hawaii and worked at the observatories on Mauna Kea).
