While shooting the vast and grand vistas, it's very easy to miss the smaller beauties that nature has around us. I was out shooting a sunset by the coast, and as I was waiting for the light to get better, I spotted this rock formation by the tide pools.

I tried a few different comps on it, but liked this one best. This is a single RAW file processed twice to get as much detail out as possible.

It really gives the impression of an aerial image of a partially submerged caldera, like the Hawaiin island of Molokini. Nice light and good eye for this Sairam!

I like the composition and the blues are nice. The yellows are a bit rich for me. Very nice find.

Beautiful reflection and well composed. When I first opened it, I thought is was an aerial image.

I like the concept a lot and a very nice job with this.
I don't like the squared off rock on the left, I might be tempted to "round" the tip and tone down the highlight.

Lovely! I really like what the reflected clouds add. I'd prefer this as an anchor some drama behind, as apposed to the sole subject, but that's because I'm one-dimensional
