This is a shot I took awhile back that I found in my archives that I never processed. Upon second inspection, I thought it might be worth it.

Near Sunrise, MRNP in August. I remember loving the lush, green feelof this place as I walked along the trail. C&C always welcome...

Very peaceful looking scene Joseph and the fog in the back round adds a lot to the mood. I also like it with a bit off the top (just below the bright area TR) putting it more on thirds. But very nice as is. Nice job.

I totally agree with Bill in all respects. I think a small crop from the top accentuates the three trees in the background and really makes the composition work. As much as I like the misty clouds in the background, I think it works better with the emphasis on those trees as my eyes work their way back through the scene.

I really like the comp here Joe, so much going on. I would be tempted to crop a little from the top. The bright patch on the top right of the frame tends to draw my eye a lot. Lush colors and nice processing!

I like the crop and view, Joe. Very nice indeed. I might consider a little warmer balance to accentuate the light that seems to be coming from behind you.

Hi Joe, I like this comp a whole lot. The fog adds a metallic luster which works well with the darker shimmery greens from the firs. Prefer the crop as shown in the above edits. The warming may be too much… and you always have to watch closely too…when adjusting curves and contrasts with foliage that the pockets of fog nested in foliage peek-a-boo match with the larger fog brightness…or it looks a bit over-cooked between the foliage. A very minor preference nit …. Nicely done..way to retrieve a shot from the archives!

It's funny you should mention that Ken. I noticed as well that the open spaces in between looked a bit overcooked. I hopefully addressed that in this repost, as well as as cooling it back down some. I'm sure it still doesn't look perfect, but I had to reduce the quality significantly in order to meet the 300 kb limit here.

I actually want to ket it looking as good as possible in the original file because one of my FB friends expressed interest in buying a print when I posted it on my feed. Thanks for the feedback!
