Spring Mix

A jumble of new growth in the yard.

Zeiss 100mm at F22, 8 sec shutter, w/polarizer on Nikon d800e.

Add’l comment: This was not one of my arrangements…My wife is the gardener who arranges, separates, transplants…etc. Everything** is in the soil …**except for the blue forget-me-nots…..(true confession).

So pretty. Perfect composition. Just an excellent shot.

Only pick is that, for me, I'd desaturate the blue flowers just a slight bit. Personal preference of course.

Shots like this keep me plugging along, hoping to create an image this nice one day.

What a lovely mixture of textures, colors, and foliage! The blue flowers add wonderful accent spots throughout the image. Very well composed IMO. Great job on processing too. This would look nice with a soft focus filter added too, if you wished. Nice work, Ken.
