Wow Jim,
The thumbnail does not do this image justice, what a surprise when I opened it, Outstanding !
This is a powerfully beautiful composition and perfect for this WC,
Well done . . .

The three major branches create a fine shape that stands out nicely against that beautifully colored (and textured) background, JIm.

Great abstract silhouette shot, Jim! You really put the various elements together in a pleasing and interesting way. The background rocks have beautiful color and texture, the wispy branches and leaves add a delicate screen layer over the rocks, but the bold curves of the large black trunks really make this image pop! Well done.

Cool. I like the initial abstract feeling I got from it. I probably would not have 'seen' this, and would've walked right on by. Nice vision. The exposure on the wall is nice. Colors are really nice. I like the crop.
Just curious, did you ever try it as a B&W?

Thanks Alan. I don't do any B&W. But just out of curiosity, I did desaturated this. My impression of the result is that it seems like a lot of the more intricate detail of the smaller branches against the rock wall gets lost in this case.

Brilliant Jim! Awesome colors and contrast. Perfect crop and position of the tree limbs. Well seen and captured.
