This is my refuge in the heart of Uptown Dallas. About 300 yards from the front door of my high rise I can relax and shoot to my heart's content. Home to dozens of bird species along with the occasional coyote or Raccoon I can leave my desk work and get away in a matter of minutes.

Wow, quite the nice locale in the heart of the big city. What a great little refuge from the madness.

Rick, That is very cool having such a great place so close in the city. Nice you can make pictures this good there as well. Is this any where near where all those bronze statues are of the cattle drive?

I really like this. Haven't seen too many BW images that have such a painterly look to use the cliche'. really nice tones and great light...........well done.

Looks like a great spot. I like how your b/w treatment has emphasized the abstract shapes of the trees and water.

Strong comp for my tastes Rick and I also like the light on the rocks. Wish I'd known about this place the last time I was in Dallas. Good looking image.
