Quiet?

I post far too many images of Elephants, but I cannot resist them.
Mum and her youngster enjoy a quite drink at Manga 3 waterhole in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. It is normally a lot busier this.
I hope to be purchasing a new pump and sponsoring the fuel supply for this waterhole next year, but it involves a lot of red tape

I'm a sucker for elephants also. Baby is getting big. I was intrigued by your comments concerning the water hole. Are these water holes man made? Water pumped in during dry spells?

Jerry,

Thanks for your kind comment. Hwange suffers from not a lot of rain, the waterholes fill up in the rainy season, but dry out due to the Elephants great thirst. So man helps out a little, just like in Etosha.
Some people think this is wrong I prefer to have Elephants, after all man has stolen all of the best places

A cool frame, very nicely executed. You could perhaps make it touch more brighter and add some saturation.

Very 'elephanty' scene, Ken. Probably needs a little CW rotation?
