Ice Needles In B&W

A few days ago I posted an image of ice crystals on a window pane which I added artificial color to the BG. This is another image which I chose to convert to high contrast B&W.

Which do you like better?

10D and 100 f2.8 Macro. Evaluative metering ISO 200 f8 and 1/90. B&W conversion in PS. Levels adjusted to give high contrast. Sharpening applied.

As always any and all comments and input are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for commenting Brian. Way back in college I did some work with litho film and liked the special effects I was able to get with it. I was striving for exactly the same effect here. I appreciate your noticing it.

I really like this. It reminds me of a very detailed pencil drawing. Very creative.
