Cute title & image Keith, nice & sharp with a great BG Keith.
Very good added interest with that perch, and the nut dropping action's very cool

Keith, in addition to being technically very strong, the position of the hands and those tufts of hair on it's ears, along with the dropped nut just convey such a wonderful sense of "oh no - what did I just do" - absolutely evokes a good response from this viewer

Thanks to you all, must say I can't claim a lot of skill with the falling nut it was only while editing my pictures from this session that I noticed it. Keith.

Outstanding image! Where was this taken? At first look I thought the nut was on the branch, then I noticed the shadow and the space between the nut and the branch. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ray, John it was taken in North Yorkshire UK a friend of mine as them coming to feeders in his garden, wish I could pat myself on the back about catching the falling nut but it was sheer good luck.
Thanks Keith.

Not only is the falling nut a great surprise, but you have the squirrel in fine classic posture with excellent eye reflectivity and good depth of field control rendering the background creamy smooth.

Really an excellent image Keith. Great choose for DOF to get the perch sharp since all the mossy look and feel add tot his image and you create your own luck. It took you being there, finding him and pressing the shutter to still get the nut, so don't sell yourself short. Great job getting the falling nut.
