Colors of the Prairie

I was out well before sunrise for this image. This was taken before the sun came up. I wanted to get this nice color in the grasses before the bright sun light hit it. I completely changes the color and it is not as pleasing. I did clone out a fence just behind the tree. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

I like the lone tree and the complementary pastels Richard.

I also wonder if an image without the tree but done as an abstract might be interesting. I'm not used to seeing this kind of color on the prairie.

I like the image as posted. No suggestions.

The tree is in a perfect position, Richard. The pink color almost looks as tho' it might come from tiny flowers.

The tree stands out nicely with the colourful background Richard. The image may also work with a square crop.

I like trees, and this one is in the right spot. The cool green against the red flower carpet is a nice combination. I'd like to see better DOF.

What are the red flowers? There sure is a passel of them!

This is nice as it is. I think it might be nice if you could get above the grass, and get more depth of field, so you could see the lay of the land going to the tree, and then beyond it, extending out through that lovely color. This seems light to me, but I'm on a very poor monitor at the moment.
