The acorn tops fell into a fir tree, and captured some snow inside.
Shot with limited DOF, its a busy shot.

I really like this one, Mike! The color range is rich and dynamic, and that snow in the acorn cap gives that extra pop. The selective focus is great here...gives that feeling of sharing a secret view. No nits from me!

Nature's mini-bowl. I don't think the image is too busy as presented. Good choice of DOF and excellent colors.
