It is not very often that you find a Leopard that does not run way unless it has been habituated to human presence. This is something that would be incredible in Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda as the area is rarely visited, even though it is the the most beautiful park in Africa I have ever visited.
This young male behaved as if visits by both of the vehicles in the park was normal, something that nobody had ever seen before, a great sign for future visitors!

super shot Ken. I love the walk leopards walk down trees.
I've never been to Kidepo but many people have recommended it highly.

WOW! This is really nice. The detail in teh larger version is very good. Love the way he almost looks like he is gliding down the trunk.

Very neat action and pose, Ken. Did you darken the bg in this image? I'm seeing a bit of light colored stuff around the head when I look closely.

Thanks everybody for your comments

Martin,
You must go not exactly teeming with Wildlife, but beautiful! WCS survey conducted whilst we were there indicate 600 Elephants a large increase and no sign of poaching!

Dennis,
Sloppy processing I am afraid, thanks for spotting it, I will have a go at correcting it
