The lupines in Sugar Hill were quite sparse this year. This is from 4 or 5 years ago.

Amazing display. The lupines here in the desert are dwarfs compared to these. That must be quite a sight to see. Nice captured and presented.

Yep, giant lupines for sure. Very cool explosion of color and detail. I really had a nice journey thru the large view. Sweet.

This is awesome! The fog makes it very special. IMO the web presentation could use a touch more sharpening, but that's obviously very minor. Great capture!

This is really special, Michael. Print it great big. The flowers are wonderful, and that fog...puts this over the top.

We get some pretty fair-sized Blue Lupine in the Sierra, but nothing like these beauties.

I checked out the fields mid month, and thought I really had timed it wrong. I guess it was a week year. Wonderful atmosphere created by the fog, and those near lupine really jump in this lighting.
