Folks,

The rains have given life to the passion flower vine in our region. There are some location in the wild where these have started flowering.

Made this early on a very cloudy day, and I had to bring down the bg by one small bit to make it look black. Metered this on the white bract.
I guess I will end up working with this flower, and just that I need to find one from where I can shoot with different backgrounds.

Excellent comp, color, and detail, Balan! I think the black bg works very well to show the beautiy of this flower.

Beautiful image Balan. I find it hard to isolate and get a good comp for flowers on the vine, but you have done this well. Excellent detail and nice handling of the whites. Well done!

Balan - X marks the Passion Flower !!. Very fine composition and superb details. If you can open up the dark shadows in the background a little bit to show the greens (?) there, it might work a bit better for me.
