Rain Pool

Wanted to do this in black and white. It's a slightly different image than what I posted earlier but mostly it was taken earlier in the day and there wasn't much color to begin with.
Nikon D800
Zeiss 21mm
LR, CC, NIK Silver Efex, TK's actions and masks
Comments and suggestions welcome.

Being a Hasselblad shooter since 1972, I am very fond of Zeiss lenses. Coupling them with a D800 is about as good as it gets in DSLR's. And you have milked your equipment for everything it can do. This image is truly magnificent.
Gary,
I noticed it when I did my check for dust spots in the final jpeg. It's not there until I do the save to jpeg. Even after touching it up with a brush it's recreated in the "save to web" process in Photoshop. If I save to jpeg from LR I don't get it but then I also don't get the sharpening I want. Thanks for the comment. I'm still going to need to fiddle with my black and white workflow.
Michael,
I hope to make a D810 my main camera sometime later this year. I'll keep the 800 as a backup but given that we plan to travel to the parks after Terri retires in August I think I'll want a second camera besides her Sony with the fixed 35 as a backup. I'm tough on my gear and the 100 and 50 have taken a lot. Both are first generation and not chipped but I still prefer them to any lenses I've owned and doubt that I'll ever need to replace them. I expect the 21mm to hold up as well.

Preston,
It's your scaffolding with the addition of TK's cloud sharpening on the clouds and water and a slight "make it glow" (Orton), then fine tuning the midtones again. Then conversion in NIK's Silver Efex. Thanks for the tutelage. I appreciate it.
