Soft Sunrise

Another shot from my vacation - my wife and I were awoken pre-sunrise by a deer trampling on the deck outside. We figured we would make the most of it and walked to the beach for the sunrise - though it turned out to be rather cloudy. I tried to make the most of it with this shot.

I really like the pastel scheme in this, Luke. The sky looks great, and I like the details in the water and the sand. You definitely nailed this one.

Gorgeous sky and beautiful subdued colors. I also really like the way the lines lead out to the left horizon. Very compelling.

Looks like a beautiful sunrise and a fine location in which to spend sunrise. I think the clouds add a lot actually.

Luke, the pastels are great, but it's the sweep of the clouds and how that's reflected in the surf that really grabs me. Lovely image.

I like the lightness of this. The drama is in the colors and textures and heavy contrast isn't necessary.
