Good color. I like the diagonal composition. The subject stands out well against the neutral BG.

Also like how the sepals are darker in the shadow in contrast to the petals.

I like the red/yellow combination in the rays in these flowers, Ian. You've done a fine job of showing this one off with the diagonal placement and the gently complementary but nicely out of focus background.
