Awesome and powerful! You can just feel the raw elements smack you in the face. We'll done. :toast:

Wonderful shot Daniel! The clouds and lighting provide a great mood for this and really bring out the power and majesty in Adams.

Great light, and wonderful image of Mt. Adams. The clouds in the background add a nice dimension.

Just curious, Daniel, but is the soft light due to smoke from the fires up there?

I like this a lot.

Impressive how the mountain dwarfs everything else. He smoke/haze enhances this quality, like the mountain is up in the heavens.

Such beautiful, subtle light, I appreciate your restraint on the processing. It reminds me of the second generation Hudson River School landscape painters like Bierstadt that painted in the West.

Beautiful. And I'll echo Scott's comment that I respect the fact that you've chosen not to crank the contrast. Well done.

I am liking the subtle light and low visibility, it has a depth of feeling.
