Savannah Sparrow
by Dennis Plank
Another from the morning of July 26th with sun filtered through fog and a foggy bg. I used a levels adjustment on this one bringing the sliders most of the way in to the ends of the histogram, which really reduced the fog effect, but I'm afraid I might have gone a bit too far and lost the mood. I'd be interested in opinions on that subject.
1Div, 500mm f4 ISL + 2.0TC, Jobu Gimbal on RRS legs, f8, 1/500, iso 640 -1/3 stop compensation, pattern metering, aperture priority. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Cropped to 7.4MP of the original 16. Taken at 6:58 am.

5 commentsThis is a very pale savannah sparrow compared to the ones that I have in the Midwest. Pose and composition work well. I believe that you captured the mood OK.........................Jim
