Peeking Grasshopper (WC)

This is an image of a small grasshopper "peeking" out over a dahlia petal. The eyes are about all I got in this image, but I was able to get more and more of him in subsequent images. Taken back in 2011 with Nikon D700, 180 Tamron macro lens. Comments, questions, and suggestions welcome.

Scott, that's an awesome collection of dahlia petals. They swirl and flow so wonderfully with both color and shape. Then there's that little pair of eyes peeking out. What a great job of seeing.

Hey Scott - this looked like a really nice flower abstract - AND THEN - there are those eyes peeking out! For me, there's a sense of humour (or even mischievousness) captured here. Very much made me smile

Love this, Scott. The eyes and antennae peeking out are perfect for this challenge. Looks like he's hanging on for dear life, a tidal wave of dahlia petals.
