Red Fox - Nome

During our Nome workshop last summer led by Ken Archer we found a Red Fox den. At one point when we were about 50 yards from the den, this fox walked right up to us and past us, at one point it was inside my minimum focusing distance, it was very exciting. This is full frame except for a sliver off the top.

Cool, Nate. The slightly lifted forepaw adds much to the pose, while the closed eyes add mood and mystery. Good job of composing left/right in full frame.

Very nice detail and dof. It feels like the fox is walking into a stiff wind or looking into a bright light. Nice image.

Hi nice Red Fox photo. I like the space he has on the right and the tones in the background too. Its a very pale looking fox a lot paler than Ive seen, really beautiful.
