Playing around in my shop with various lighting sources and thought this came out pretty dramatic

Bob: Excellent lighting and wonderful color rendition against the black BG. My only suggestion would be to put this on a white frame instead of the black since it doesn't make much sense for the stem to end abruptly within the apparent frame. Another solution in the future would be to put a one pixel white stroke on the edge of your image to separate it from the black site BG. Looking forward to more of your experimentations. >=))>

Very striking, Bob ! Excellent control of those bright yellows to allow the pollen detail to come out in the large version. The bluish greens seem just on the edge - I think that perhaps helps suggest a ghostly mood.

Beautiful. My only "nit" would to darken the bud just behind the petals to match the lighting of the other ones.
