Another from our June trip to Sugar Hill in the White Mountains of NH. Even though the lupines were very sub par this year we were treated to a couple of nice sunrises and sunsets and breakfast at Polly's Pancake house. Yum.

As always thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestion.

Ed, I sure do like all the layers...both in the mountains and in the sky. Great catch....I think I hear a wood thrush singing the world to sleep.

Real nice Ed, must've been a beautiful sight to witness, really nice layers, and gorgeous sky. Beautifully seen and presented.

Beautiful colors and layers, Ed. I could use a bit more of the treetops, I think

Interesting scene. Honestly, I would prefer this as an abstract sky shot--just the top half. That's what the title alludes to. The bottom half adds context but it sort of pales in interest to the top. But i prefer weird stuff.

Nice color and I like the layers, too. I see Stan's comment about this being about the sky, but the hills add context. You might consider cropping the very dark bottom some. The sky looks great.

This is a decent shot, it just feels like it needs something more to add interest. It also does not look sharp - maybe your using f20 is the reason?
