Sunset Rain Shower

From Seattle looking east into the Cascade Mountain foothills at sunset. Rain showers were passing through, and I caught a pretty good sweep of them, I think…
This is from my living room window (lucky me!) so I did clone out the ***** telephone wire that draped itself across the upper 1/3 of the frame! NIK Viveza and ColorEfex, as the digital negative looked quite flat compared to what I saw.
Panasonic Lumix GH3; Lumix G Vario 100-300 @ 100mm; f7.1, 1/320, ISO 320.

Beautiful layers and light Catherine. I like the soft processing that shows the virga and supports the mood of this so well. No suggestions. I like this very much as posted.

Doesn't matter where you are there always seems to be a telephone wire or a condensation trail. (smile)

Love the soft colors and light Catherine. You captured the moment really nicely. I think the low contrast works really nicely here.

Really nice, Catherine. I love this kind of shot with such sweet atmospherics. Nice view from the living room by the way .I think I might reduce the blues a little but pretty darn nice as is.
