Iconic Seattle

While obviously a composite, it was based on an actual photo (see below) taken at the Chihuly glass museum.
Used Topaz Remask to remove most of the superstructure holding the glass and superimposed the glass on another shot I took of the Space Needle.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Beautiful image, Allen! This is close to what it would have looked like without the glass and structure in the way. Nice comp and beautiful colors.

This is really cool Allen. The vibrancy of the glass is "WOW", and the fact that you've based it off a real scene even better. On one hand, I kind of wish the Space Needle wasn't touching the glass on the right, on the other hand, I find it works to create some depth... At the end of the day, this is visually appealing and technically very well done. :toast:

This is a lovely composite, Allen. The bright colors in the glass are wonderful and how they surround the space needle works very well. I do agree with the suggestion of lowering the needle just a bit so they don't touch the glass "flowers". Pretty amazing work with your extraction of the glass sculpture.

Ah, Chihuly glass!! Gotta give him credit for his stunning creations. And you've made a great composite of the images, here, Allen. Nothing but eye candy.
