A picture I took that I thought just showed the color of the green heron well.

I like the pre-strike pose. From what I can tell the colors look good and the heron appears sharp. It would have been nice to include the large photo to better show of the detail and colors. Also, would suggest more room, if possible, on the left.

Nice pose. The bird is however rather larger in the frame, I would have preferred some more room around the bird. Cheers, Hans

Hi Justin, Nice pose from the heron but it needs more room in front to give the viewer a sense of what the heron is looking at. It's just too tight in the frame. It's hard assess the details and color without a larger image for critique. Also a lower angle would improve this image a lot, I know sometimes it's not always possible. Nice shot.
