Parent grebe with fish

This is another image of the same Clark's grebes from the same pond as my previous images. This time, it is of the parent grebe after it caught a fish for the juvenile. She was trying to attract the youngster's attention by waving the fish in air. The light was pleasant, but it was a challenge to expose both whites and blacks of the grebe properly.

Very good image! I like the colors, details and the water drops. Maybe a slight more detail in the light areas on the neck, Thanks for sharing.

Very nice capture, Govind. Looks like the light reflection of water ripples gave you some trouble. Surprising with the big Ev compensation you used. I like the trail of water coming off the fish.

Nice capture of this action Govind. The red eye looks like it's glowing. There are some hot spots on the neck. I'm sure you've tried to correct it since you mentioned the challenge of exposing this image. It can be tough.

Lovely lighting here Govind, I would try to take down some of the brighter spots on the neck in this one. The water drips and the fish add a lot here. :toast:

Great stop action capture Govind, the water trails are a nice touch..

The light was a bit tricky, but you managed it well.. Love that hot red eye, almost gives the grebe a demonic lookfrown

Well donedevil
