It has been a while since I have posted here. Things have been busy for me over the last several months. This image represents a new beginning of sorts as I have moved to Nashville. Hopefully this means that I will also have more images to share. :wavey:

This image is from a recent trip to the Smokies.

All constructive comments and critiques are welcome.

theres a lot going on here, but it comes together for me pretty well. I might tone down the brightest highlites a tad, otherwise works for me! :wavey:

Welcome back, Brian, I've been out of action for a while myself.
Normally I would say this much blur would be on the edge of obscuring the motion of the water, but it works here, partly due to the strong texture of the water in the first mini-fall, and partly due to the extra interest from the whirlpool. Good one.

Nice, intimate scene with good water action, Brian. The whites are just a bit bright. My daughter moved to Nashville a year ago and loves it. :wavey:

This is a fine intimate look at this stream. There's nice action in the rapid and the long exposure lets the swirl in the lower left show nicely. Might be worth a bit of dodging in the urc to reduce the darkness there, but this works well as shown.

I don't mind the dark URC much, but you might consider darkening the LLC for balance and placing more attention on the flowing stream.

Looks like the classic Smokies stream to me, Brian. This has a nice quiet mood to it which I find appealing. My only suggestion would be to tone down the highlights just a bit. Nicely done.

Nice image, Brian, feels very "Smokies in the fall." Tough call on the SS, would hate to lose the whirlpool but, as others mentioned, the brightness in the flow is a bit strong. Not sure how to tone down those highlights if there is no data there due to the SS.

A beauty of an intimate capture Brian, but I concur with the others in the brightness of the stream being a bit much. The sense of autumn is well conveyed to the viewer :).
