Nice image Tom. I like the colors and the soft presentation for the subject. I might clone out the white blur on the viewer's right but it's no big deal either way. I also like the mood of this.

These are lovely Tom. The bg is good and the flowers show up well against it. No nits. Nice work! :toast:

Thank, all. I've been processing a black and white version which I might even like better!

Tom: Really well seen and captured. I'm trying to decide if I would like a tiny bit more light above or perhaps a small crop from the top. As is I think the dark area draws some attention from the flowers. Still pretty darn nice work. >=))>

I managed to get one of these to bloom once in about 20 years. They're great when you do. This is a fine look and it's way cool that you got 3 blooms in the same frame. I'd crop off the dark area at the top, down to just above the highest bloom stem or try to bring up the brightness of the lighter parts up there.

Thanks for the comments. I agree that this shot gets a little too dark at the top, and the bluish-gray bg blur on the right center is distracting. In the black and white version I've been playing with, I worked on both of those areas and I think it really improved the shot. Thanks again for the input.

Tom, you have taken a beautiful photo of these beautiful flowers. My personal feeling is that the image is not too dark as the dim light hides some details potentially distracting. This cactus flower is very translucent and is splendid with a back light.
Take care.

ABsolutely lovely.  The weight of the blossoms at the bottom makese for a really balanced composition.
