This is quite nice, with warm colors. Not completely sold on the slightly out-of-focus leaves, though.

I like this, John. This oof leaves don't bother me as I like the way you selectively focused on the center leaf. I like the backlighting and dark bg as well. The orange leaves look practically lit. Nicely done.

This is lovely, John. Having those two leaves only slightly obscured works very well and there's enough color and sharpness in the rest of the frame for this comp. to work. I could see cropping from the right to a 4 x 5 as an alternate view.

Lovely patterned effect, John, with a good colour harmony and a nice composition around the central leaf. Might just like to see a little more detail in the leaves but I guess you didn't want that. Good graphic image whatever !
