The Elowah Falls Amphitheater in the Columbia Gorge, Oregon in fall color.
Taken today, some nice rains last week pumped up the falls and this is about as "fall color" as it gets in the Gorge.

Nicely done. Beautiful falls. I could wish for a tad more room at the top. This is an impressive falls. I like the muted fall colors of the vegetation and the massive rock wall.

Great point of view Dan and a fine composition as well. Beautiful image. Love the mood of it. No suggestions of any kind.

Nice! This looks to have been taken from a different vantage point than most of the images I can recall seeing of Elowah Falls. It's not the classic view from the bottom of the gorge along the stream looking more or less straight on towards the falls. I like that your composition gives the viewer a good sense of the location.

I really like this, Dan. The falls and stream bisect the frame nicely. Sure you could have a bit more space on top, but i like the impressive cliffs and subtle fall colors.

I like the composition as well as the detail in the waterfall. I could see adding a touch more vibrance.

Looks like a neat place, Dan. I like the subtle yellows and (or course) all the greens. The falls also looks great and is very well placed in the image. Things sure do "pop" nicely in the larger version.

Dan,

You have framed up the falls beautifully with some gorgeous Columbia Gorge vegetation. I feel a slight bump in luminous and saturation would add a little more pop to this already great shot.

Of course I was not there, so I have no idea how this scene looked to the eye.

Sweet work :toast:

Very nice job of finding a different comp for here Dan and a nice job on the processing for a very natural feel to the scene. Great detail in the large version also. Well done.
