I was drawn to the carpeted, terraced effect of the shore.

George W. Childs State Park, Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, PA

Raw file processed in LR5, with TK resize/sharpening for web.
Canon T3i, 1/8 s, f/8, ISO 400, EF 24-105 mm @ 82 mm, CPL.

Cloned away a small, but eye-catching bush.

Please view the large image!

Seeking any and all advice and comments. Thanks in advance.

I like the idea, Ronald. I might have zoomed in then on the terraced area and some water and exclude the tree trunk and the busiest parts of the image at the top where the exposed rocks are. Just a thought....

I like the composition, the patterns and the textures Ron. My only reservation is tree and to my eye it seems at odds with the rest of the composition. Still - an interesting image for me.

Some interesting designs and textures. My eye doesn't find a center of interest to land on. I agree with the comment to zoom in closer eliminating the tree and some or all of the water.

I like the tones and colors in this Ronald but I find things a bit chaotic and my eyes don`t settle anywhere. I find these type of scenes very difficult to put together.

hmmm Ronald,

The processing of color and tones are well done. I like the idea for a more intimate view of the rock ledges with the beautiful brown leaves, and some water included.

What do you think?
