Oh man, I LOVE this!
I have never been to Zion or even spent much time anywhere in the West, but I bet most people would walk right by scenes like this, looking for huge rock formations and grand vistas. Excellent vision to see this, and excellent execution to craft such a compelling image of it. Bravo!

Very cool photo. As Wayne noted, this would probably be missed by most people walking by. Good eye. Love the pattern and colors in the rock and then all the stuff in the diagonal groove. Many of the co0lors there are complimentary to the rock as well. How'd you do that?

Well seen and crafted image, Jim. You should throw this into the Weekly Challenge, too, it's the epitome of Rock Art.

I think you could make it pop a bit more in the processing Jim but this is a lovely natural presentation of art in nature.

Very pleasing Jim love the pink ribbed sandstone and the vessel running through it on a nice diagonal. the eclectic mix of leaves petals and debris in the channel is great.

Fabulous fall macro. Love the addition of the little pine cone thrown in with the leaves and smaller rocks. The wavy big pink rocks make such a nice frame for that diagonal line.

Jim, I really like the composition and elements in your image. About the only suggestion may be to add just a little local contrast.

So cool! The only thing I can think that might help a comp like this isx to avoid having the diagonal of the rock meet exactly at the corner. A slight turn of your orientation would have maybe created a little more tension in the image. SOmething I noticed, but probably very minor. Really beautiful no matter what way you angle it

Most excellent, Jim. I love little scenes like this, and you have framed it nicely with the diagonal crack nestled in the patterns of the sandstone.
Print it big!

This is great, Jim. The undulating curves and subtle color changes in the main rock formation are very sensual and the small stones and debris angling across the frame are wonderful bits of spice.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I was reminded of Valley of Fire. This is a great find. You'd never get those leaves in VoF. Would I be wrong to suggest a boost in contrast ? Tough to say.
