We are expected to have our first freeze tomorrow. It's about a month earlier than usual for Austin. Hopefully that doesn't mean we don't get any fall color this year. We'll see.

Nikon D800 1/4000s @ f/3 ISO 500

Thanks for taking a look.

Sanjay

Beautiful backlighting, Sanjay. The top leaves just glow against that muted background. It's cool that you got a shadow of one leaf through the one in the lower left. Very nicely composed, I like the shadowed leaves in the opposite corner and balances off the glow in the top.

Sanjay, you've got some fine spot back lighting on these leaves and in the background. This creates an interesting and moody view.

Really nice work here, Sanjay. There is a lot to think about when viewing this as a photographic scene. First might be the diagonal URHC to LLHC flow or placement of the blank area. Seems to be perfect for how the second item and main focal point the plant is placed in the scene. And then of course the back lighting that is the "highlight" to the viewing of the plant and the fading light toward the LRHC. Excellent execution.

Sanjay, the color combination fg and blur bg and dark lrc makes this photo very appealing. This combination and comp I need to absorb a little more. A photo well done.

I really like the color here including the BG. Nice comp especially with the shadow of one leaf mirroring the shape of the other. :toast:
