That's a special moment Rick. I could see a bit of a crop off the right side, say to the "c" in Rick, in order to get the bird more off center but beautiful as presented.

The over all lighting is very nice, Rick and I like the light on the wing. An image well captured. Chet

Great view of this egret taking off with both some fine fog and lovely morning light. The light on the wing is a special addition. I agree that moving the bird further off center is likely to be an improvement, but this is very nice as presented.

Wow! Great light and color, interesting wildlife and action all make this unique. I think the best thing about this is the warm light on the heron's wing and the upper wisps of fog. You were there at the right time, and your expertise with the camera saved the moment for all of us. Thank you!
