Saltmarsh Sunset #2

Here's another look at the sun setting over the salt marshes at Blackwater NWR. This is a few minutes earlier and a few steps away from my previous post. I've also blended 3 exposures around the sun to try and control the blown area around it. (5D3, 24-70mm f2.8 @ 34mm, 1/30s, f/16, iso 200, tripod)

I like this one lots better, even with the blown sun (it is, after all, the sun) . The reflected clouds are simply gorgeous and the colors are wonderful. Beautiful capture

yessirree, much better image, Mark. No distracting stumps for one thing. Can't help but blow out the source of all our light!
Those remind me of summer Sierra Nevada clouds that all originate from jet trails. These are cool.

I definitely like this one. Great foreground combined with a fine overall scene. This works for me.

I am going to join the crowd. I like this one much better also. It is a cleaner image and the reflection really adds to the image and helps draw the eye into the rest of the image.

I am with the others, I like this one better, very nice water and reflection.
Perfect SSm and nice muted color.
I think you did a nice job with the sun, but perhaps overdid it a tad, it could be a bit brighter larger.

I am SO glad you did a good job on the Sun (IMHO) because the reflections in this image are absolutely magical. It is so much better than what we can see of the sky, I think that shaving even more off the top would be a good thing -- or at least cloning out that bright cloud on the top of the frame just left of center.

I like this one very much Mark.

The reflection in the fg is wonderful, and brings me into the scene, and the colors are just beautiful. The processing looks great to me, and this one is is very nice work in photography.

There is a lot to like here, the gold and blue tones particularly. I also like that it's an unusual image with those bands of clouds. I'd be tempted to clone out those few dark stumps around the image, just to clean up.
