From Chalk Bluff

What a surprising view. It looks like you shot it from some kind of aircraft. Amazing detail in the fall leaves, and the cliffs make a dramatic setting for an otherwise peaceful scene.

Stunning image! The positioning of the river lets the eye move through the photo very nicely. And there is no "center-itis" happening here either, even though it is a balanced composition. Very nice!

Awesome! The cliffs help frame the comp, the level of detail is remarkable, and the mist is icing on the cake.

Lovely color and detail, Mark. I like the lines of the river and the misty background. This has a wonderful mood to it.

I really like the long sweeping curve of the river leading my eye into the scene, and the complementary curve of the cliff on the right, and the landscape fading into the mist in the background around the bend in the river. I do wish that there was a little more room on the right, so that the top of the cliff in the foreground isn't right at the edge of the image. I'd suggest cropping slightly from the top to eliminate the two hot spots on the top edge.

This is a really beautiful image. The perspective says so much about the location and really helps showcase the bends.

A great view Mark, and you have framed up the image beautifully. The trees are ful of detail, and the dabble of early fall color is very nice.
