Ruaha is in my experience the best place in Africa for Lion photography, not surprising as there at least 2000 lions living in the park, and there are nearly always a pride with cubs

What is there not to like about this one . . . Good eye contact, nice light and movement on the front leg makes it for me

Well spotted, my only excuse is that they were made by a film crew making a documentary, we mere mortals are not allowed off road
