Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Time to slow down and enjoy family and friends and think back on all the simple things we should be most grateful for. All the best to everyone.

This was taken right out my front door......

Very nice shallow dof and high-key background. I think I would prefer it cropped to a slightly horizontal to eliminate the lower leaves. To my eye, they compete a bit with the main bunch. But nice as presented.

This is a fine look at this tenacious leaf and the cluster of berries, echoed so nicely by the similar clusters in the background. I do find myself wishing for more emphasis on main the subject.

I like the image Eva and the dof decision but my first thought also was to crop away the lower leaf and part of the middle. I like the patterns in the bottom but they deemphasize the main leaf too much for my tastes.

I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving as well.

I like the soft echoes of your main subject as they fade into the bg. Lovely image

Great use of DOF and repeating echoes.

A good intimate view, with nice balance with the repeating patterns below, and a the DOF is well used. I think of the holidays while viewing this image Eva.
