Spotlight the Mountain

Another older photo taken at Valdez, Alaska (my lifetime home). This was one of those turn around and look the other way when viewing the sunset shot. The sunset was nice but the warm light highlighting the mountain in the East was even more interesting. The tiny piece of a rainbow was a nice little bonus also. The mountain was wet from a recent rain shower also, so it was building it's own clouds.

The lighting and that lingering cloud on the left make the mountain especially inviting, Gary. Then you've got the rainbow for frosting on a fine cake. Lovely scene. I've see the mountains across the valley from our MT home do the same cloud creation after a rain, it's pretty neat to watch.
