The title may sound strange but it's a weathner situation here in switzerland with hot strong winds and this creates this weird looking sky.
The photo was taken around sundown mid november on top of MT.Niesen in the Bernese alps of Switzerland

That's quite a sky, and I like the various layers of mountains and the mist. You might consider reducing some of the blue and cyan.

Just curious, but what is the name of the big mountain on the left, Bill?

Preston, thanks for your feedback. Don't blame me for not knowing the name of the mountain you were asking for but we have so many of them mountains here in switzerland.....I really just don't know. It sure is not one of the well known mountains

Beautiful alpine scene, Bill. I really like the small ares of light on the ridges leading to the sweet sky and moving fog. Very nice.

Amazing scene, Bill. The warm colors of the sky and the cool blue of the snow work wonderfully together. That layer of fog also adds a nice touch and it sure looks like some rugged country. I like this alot!

That's a way cool orange sky and it's great how the orange is picked up in the mist, Roland. Showing this as a pano works very well.

Wow, that is gorgeous and full of drama. Love the warm/cool contrasts. It looks like a fair amount of effort went into capturing this image. Kudos.

This is a sweet view Bill, and the warm and cool color combos work wonderfully. I like how the diagonal lines and horizontal lines work together in this image.

Great capture

A really great shot Bill, the colour contrast in sky and terrain works so well. Excellent depth too. Credit to you too for getting up there in those conditions.

Cheers, Gary.
