Jagdeep: this is a photo that has to be viewed large to be appreciated. When done so, much more of the detail and texture in the animals becomes evident. The pp you've chosen is great for this subject matter and the clean background keeps the eye on the subjects. You've captured a great moment with the two larger elephants mimicking each other. Since Junior wasn't quite in sync, I can only give you a score of 99.99 instead of 100. Richard

Interesting shot and processing. While there is a sense of action in all three elephants, particularly the small one with the water splash and dragging the back leg, I can't shake the feeling I'm looking at a diorama. Not really sure why. Also, you might consider decreasing the shadow around the larger elephant's eye.

Terrific low angle. I most like the similar active trunk positions and how nicely the foreground recedes into a totally smooth background. Great work.

Jagdeep, fantastic shot. Love the repeating pattern formed by the trunks. You may want to try to recover the highlights as I find them a little distracting.
Cheers,
Hisham.

Hi Jagdeep,
This one is really sweet - both in terms of image content (the family themselves) and your treatment of it. Have to say I like a lot of your posts, but of the recent ones that come to mind this one is definitely near the top of the list.
If mom had turned her head to be parallel to the that of the kids we'd have near perfection here (instead of just "awesome" ). Otherwise the positioning and poses of the subjects is absolutely great. On the technical side about my only very minor nit is that it looks to me that there might be just a TAD too much sharpening on side of the mother.
Contrast and related detail and texture looks just great on this one to me.
Many thumbs up!
Cheers...
Brad

I like the highlights here. The shiny skin helps add some contrast and definitely aids in separating the juvenile from the adult. Obviously a head turn from the big one would've been nice, but the mirrored trunk placement is pleasing.

A fabulous family portrait. B&W conversion is extremely effective here to convey the mood.
