I like how you've highlighted the key elements - the ferns and the leaves. A very tasteful shot.

Wow. This is very beautiful. This is so enjoyable to look at. Thanks for sharing.

I'm in no position to give any advice on how to improve this. Wonderfully seen and even better technically executed. The larger image just blows me away. Is it the TK masks that are responsible for that crisp sharpness of those yellow leaves?

Not sure how hard you had to look, or work tocome across this comp. It is one of the cleaner, more perfect scenes of this type I have seen! Really beautiful!!!

Hard call Preston but this may be my favorite of your images to date. Love the mood and for my tastes the processing really couldn't be improved. I wish there was a trout in the fg water and I'd have my Escher but other than that... (smile)

The light, fallen leaves and reflection combine for a perfect autumn atmosphere. The outcrop on the right gives good depth - beautiful job!

Talk about tranquility! This is so relaxing and has a haunting beauty to it, Preston. The large version is exceptional; all the elements are perfectly placed throughout this scene.

A very nice nature scene, Preston! The large version is definitely a requirement here because there is so much detail to look at and it puts you much closer to the scene. Nicely seen, composed and shot! :toast:

I did want to add a comment about quietude and tranquility.

Although the subject is one of tranquility the processing does not support that. By darkening the shadows the yellow leaves now stand out more which adds energy to the image. So I wouldn't call this a tranquil image.

Scenes like this one really resonate with me Preston. This image is nature's beautiful delicate side, and you captured with expertise. The colors, details, and framing are perfect.

Just beautiful photography!!!

The details here are awesome, Preston. I love the glowing golden leaves and the reflections in the dark water work very well. My minor nit is that I'd like to see more contrast in the clump of ferns (top center), as the seem flat relative to the contrast elsewhere.
