Aging Fingers

Well you can't get much more aged than a bristlecone pine tree

This image was shot on my 60th birthday in August of this year during my first trip to the bristlecones of the White Mts. in California. I was intent on spending some time with stuff that was older than I was.

Canon T1i, f/18, 1/30 sec, ISO-200, 28mm, handheld while laying on my back looking up at the branches from an ancient tree.

And who's giving whom, which fingers? Neat look at the four branches, Dave, well placed against the clear blue sky with nicely subtle lighting.

As someone who does a lot of macro, I could see a similarly clean look at that 2nd branch from the left as being very interesting also.

A very interesting perspective of a pine tree, Dave! It's kind of abstract by has some very pleasing details. I like it
