Woodstove Warmth #2

What better way to spend a cold rainy winter day than enjoying the warmth of a fire in the woodstove (it also keeps the basement, where my computer lives, nicely warm  ). Yes, I know, playing with fire is not encouraged by parents everywhere. This is a 5 shot stack to get most of the glowing embers sharp. (5D3, 70-200 f2.8 @ 140mm, f/14, 0.4s, iso 800, 12mm ET for close focusing, tripod and cable release)

I does transmit warmth. I find the splinter? that goes to the ipper right somewhat confusing and distracting - perhaps it can be cloned out?

Tried my hand at 'playing with fire' earlier this year, the flames can be hypnotic..
Love what you've done PP to 'maximize' those glowing embers, keep those home fires burning man:smile:
Merry Christmas Mark! :wavey:

Mark,
Wonderful evocative shot. Fires are as distinct and different as snow flakes. :toast:
