One of those glorious days with a fresh load of the white gold! I like the picture, it captures exactly what the title says, but have two minor nits. There's some vignetting which draws my attention, and the left side looks a bit empty compared to the right side. Maybe it's an option to crop ~1/6th from the left side?

I can feel the cold from the wind and snow. Hope you were in your car with just the window open! Snow brings beauty to NE winter scenes and this action shot portrays that beauty. Happy New Year to you and yours.

Happy New Year Ed! Hope you have a wonderful year and I look forward to seeing your new work through out the year.

I love winter scenes like this and this one works great for me. You really captured the feel of a winter snow storm and I always enjoy the solitude mode that goes with them.

Hey Ed,
This scene makes me want to zip up my jacket and flip the hood over my head. The falling snow adds a unique perspective and you have captured the feel it projects very well. The 'Empty Space' to the left works fine for me with a nice balance of trees and sky and the fact that the blowing snow fall is coming from the left.
Happy New Year . . . :wavey:

Great catch on the storm, Ed, with the blurred flakes making it clear how heavy the snowfall is. I like how that contrasts with the sharpness of the trees. In the larger version, the bits of vegetation in the pond show up nicely and make a fine addition.

Great snowfall image - there is something mysterious about the light that you got in the trees (better seen in the large image). The snowflakes and reflection are awesome! And Happy New Year to you too! :toast:

I like the dynamic element of falling snow across the winter landscape.

An excellent New Year to you as well. Great scene with all the snow coming down. Looks really cold. This is well composed and nicely captured.

I love the action here and it's well exposed. In terms of comp, the cut-off tree tops are a minor issue, I think.

Nicely composed winter scene. I love seeing the snowfall in the image.it makes the picture very dynamic. The only thing that I find is a minor nit is the upper left corner where the sky looks a bit darker

I love the mood of this, Ed. The falling snow really adds a nice dimension. I agree about the dark upper left corner. If you crop that out, I think the compositional balance is stronger. The tones and contrast are right on.

Happy New Year to you!

Good eye to spot the dark area Bill and Preston. I has not noticed it until you pointed it out. As suggested here is a repost with the crop. Thanks guys.

Really nice capture of the wintry elements, Ed. The repost comp works better to my eye. Props for being out in that weather to document this nice scene.
