Very soft and quiet feeling to this view of river vanishing into fog. I like it very much as is– nice one, Mark. Pretty nice vantage point on this.

I love your perspective on this, Mark...feels like I'm right there enjoying the view too. Nice fall color along the river and that water is crystal clear. As I traveled through the gulf coastal plain over Christmas, I appreciated once again how fortunate we are to have such clean, beautiful streams in the Ozarks. Thanks for sharing!

This has a really nice peaceful feel to it, Mark. I like how the river fades into the mist. I would suggest dodging the foreground rock outcropping, particuarly the lightest spot on the right, a bit of an eye grabber.

Love the dreaminess of your image. The S curve river leading into the mist. I'll bet there is good smallmouth bass fishing down there.

Great mood with the fog and the graceful curve of the river draws me into the scene beautifully, Mark. My only suggestion would be to tone down the white spot on the rock outcropping in the FG just a bit. This looks like a great place to be when the autumn color really starts to pop.

Might try to clone some of those stalks crossing the river. I like the softness and the strong compositional S.

Hi Mark,
You have captured a beautiful view, and the composition looks very strong with the winding river moving one nicely through the image. The grasses crossing the river are just a bit distracting, but I am liking this image overall. If you are into the cloning thing, maybe you could experiment with cloning the grasses out?
Nice work with the capture
