Attractive colors and patterns. I can see why you called it "Quail". I might consider removing the normal looking flame at the left lower corner.

Ahh, the adult joy of "playing with fire". :biggrin: Your color packet adds some fine colors here, Jim. You've got some fine colors and excellent "action" in the flames. I also really like the disconnected flames at the top, they're like ghosts flames dancing up there. I do think cropping the blackness on the left (and maybe the normal flame, lower left) would focus attention better on the colorful flames.

Cool effect. I'd suggest cropping out the dark area on the left and that bit of flame bottom left. The bits of detached glowing gas are a nice touch.
